Hi, Welcome to my world. It's 2024 already and about time to start up the garden again! Here on HotMessHen.com We learn together about all things homestead from gardening, and chickens to canning, and just plain old cooking. Follow along as I strive to make my homestead self sufficient. I will be sharing recipes from my family as well as new ones I try out myself. We garden during the summer, and preserve our own produce, broth, beans, jams, jellies, and meat. You will see my triumphs and failures right along side me.
